Skimmerhorn Winery and Vineyard is a terroir-driven, small-batch winery and vineyard in Creston that is part of the emerging Kootenays wine region.
The Skimmerhorn mountain range to the east of the winery creates a unique micro climate for the winery’s cool climate wines, which include Pinot Gris, Ortega, Gewürztraminer, Pinot Noir and Marechal Foch.
Be sure to top by the tasting room or the bistro to enjoy a bottle of wine paired with a locally-sourced charcutterie platter and stunning views of the vineyard and skimmerhorn mountains from the patio.
