Creston Valley Bird Festival
The 11th Annual Creston Valley Bird Festival takes flight on May 12–14th, 2023. This year, there are 19 guided bird tours by kayak, foot, car, and bus to various locations in the valley which supports over 300 avian species.

Event Details
The 11th Annual Creston Valley Bird Festival takes flight on May 12–14th, 2023. This year, there are 19 guided bird tours by kayak, foot, car, and bus to various locations in the valley which supports over 300 avian species. There will also be tours to some of our wonderful valley producers such as Swan Valley Honey, Kootenay Meadows Dairy, Baillie-Grohman Estate Winery, Wild North Brewery, and the Wyndell Craft Distillery.
Birds Canada will join us for a presentation on their citizen science programs as well as their latest research projects. Sachi Snively will be presenting the work at the Tatlayoko Lake Bird Observatory.
