The rescheduled Creston-Kootenay Lake Gran Fondo is back on October 1st, 2022 after being cancelled in the Spring due to flood risks.
The Gran Fondo is a Bike Ride beginning in the beautiful Creston Valley that then travels along the scenic east shore of Kootenay Lake.
Competitive cyclists looking for a challenge will appreciate the aggregate elevation gain of more than 1500 meters over a 151 km (94 mile) route that includes a combination of mountain switchbacks, stunning lake shoreline and the agricultural valley. Riders of the 97 km (61 mile) Medio and 56 km (35 mile) Piccolo routes will enjoy the southern end of Kootenay Lake, as well as the lush valley views of Canyon-Lister.
