Kootenay Meadow Spring Turnout

The public is is invited to come on down and join the fun at Kootenay Meadows Farm in Lister for the highly anticipated annual Spring Turn Out event! This lively occasion marks the joyful return of our dairy cows to the pastures as spring arrives.

Having spent the winter and early spring in the barns for their comfort and to preserve the soil, their dairy cows are eager to kick up their heels and dance on the fresh spring grass, all while enjoying the musical accompaniment of Kootenay Brass.

During Spring Turnout, Kootenay Meadow's farm shop will be open, offering delightful free samples of our products. Additionally, just a stone's throw away in Lister Park, the Creston Valley Farmers Market will be hosting a special market for the event featuring many local vendors and delicious food trucks.
